I have a sad sad story
I'll tell it in a song
I found a (1)________ python
in the (2)__________ behind my home

I kept it in a coffee can
underneath my bed
I walked my (3)________ daily
on a leash made out of thread

For seven (4)____________ I kept this up
dreaming of the day
of walking into (5)________ and tell
with a 10 foot (6)____________ snake

But I made a big mistake

My baby (7)__________ is just a worm
The vet just checked
It is confirmed

By now he should be slinking
But all he does is squirm

My friend and I made a snake cage
From chicken wire and sticks
We (10)____________ all weekend on it
This (11)________ just (12)__________ us sick

Cause that cage won't keep a worm in
Never could, never will
A worm'll squirm right through it
And disappear into the silt

My friend, he's got a fishin' pole
and a (13)________ I've (14)__________ seen
And he wants to take him fishin'

The vet just checked, it is confirmed
By now he (17)____________ be slitherin' around
